How does this all work?
It's easy: on our homepage pick a .com name you like, and click "Buy" to purchase with a credit card. We will then transfer the .com domain name to you for use with your website and send you the logo files.
How do I know the transaction will be secure?
All transactions at Nameau are handled by PayPal using their secure server, so your credit card info is always safe.
What happens if I "hold" a name?
In some cases you might want time to think about a name before you buy, but you don't want anyone else to snag it first. For $30 a week, you can hold a name for any amount of time you wish. Hold fees go towards the purchase of any Nameau name, and you can hold as many names as you like at one time. Hold fees are not refundable.
What can I use these names for?
Anything you want—use them to name your company, product, personal web site, development effort, building, magazine, event, film, initiative, process, pet robot, anything.
Have these names been cleared?
While we are confident our names are unique, we have not done international trademark and copyright clearance for each name. We encourage you to hold any name you are interested in and clear it before purchasing
Can you come up with a custom name for me?
Yes, we offer affordable custom naming, logo design, web design and hosting options. If you don't like the logo that comes with a name, we can tweak or redesign it according to your specifications. Contact us for more information.
Are names returnable/refundable?
We will refund the purchase price minus a 10% reprocessing fee for returned names. Just transfer the domain name back to us and discontinue using the name.
